During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned. Preparations were completed for the summer 2018 eclipse season; the season contains seven eclipses and runs from Jun 18 to Jul 4. Real-time procedures were executed on Jun 14 to prepare for the first eclipse: one to activate SCS 29 and one to dump and clear the EPS glitch counters. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes an observation of SN2018bsz, which was accepted as a Target of Opportunity on May 31, and an observation of HD 93129A, which was accepted as a Target of Opportunity on May 24 and is coordinated with NuSTAR. |
