During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned. A real-time procedure was executed on Aug 29 to begin the process of recovering from reset of the EPHIN and EPHIN Input/Output unit last week. Actions were taken to ensure that the Major Frame Pulse Revision B patch is loaded, and EPHIN was put into Maintenance mode where the digital and analog (low-voltage) power supplies are on. The high-voltage power supplies will be turned on at a later time. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes an observation of Jupiter coordinated with Juno, an observation of GX 13+1 coordinated with VLA, and an observation of GRB 180720B, which was accepted as a Target of Opportunity on Aug 17. |
