During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned. A real-time procedure was executed on Mar 13 to reenable the Thermal Primary Operational Bus 6 after it had been disabled on Mar 8. The data collected during this interval will allow an assessment of the thermal benefit of turning off the associated heaters and indicate whether a permanent disable is appropriate. Of note this week, the Chandra Cycle 23 proposal deadline was Mar 16 at 6pm EDT. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below. |
