During the last week, Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned. A real-time procedure was executed on Jul 12 to patch the Control Processing Electronics (CPE) to change the Solar Array Reference Angle k-constant angle from 0 to 70 degrees, and to decrease the Sun Point Angle k-constant angle from 15 to 0 degrees. This will place the spacecraft at a thermally cool attitude during safe mode. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes an observation of SS 433 coordinated with Swift, and observations of NGC3783 coordinated with XRISM. |
