During the last two weeks Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned. A real-time procedure was executed on Dec 31 to re-initialize the flight software Thruster Command Processing subfunction in order to prevent the occurrence of an overflow condition. A second real-time procedure was executed on Jan 4 to perform a routine self-check of the Electrical Interface Assembly (EIA) Sequencer. A third real-time procedure was executed on Jan 5 to update the on-board ephemeris. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes an observation of SN2011ja, which was accepted as a Target of Opportunity on Dec 27, an observation of PTF11qcj, which was accepted as a Director's Discretionary Time TOO on Dec 27, and an observation of UZTauE_P1 coordinated with OVRO/CARMA. |
